New summer school!
This summer, the School of Archaeology and the Saxo Institute are organising a Maritime Archaeology summer school in collaboration with the Viking Ship Museum.
The summer school will feature lectures on material culture, intangible cultural heritage and heritage management supplemented by practical experience in documentation and interpretation methods, including experimental archaeology.
The course will run from 29 July to 7 August and take place mainly at the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde and the UCPH School of Archaeology/Saxo Institute. Guest lectures from researchers at the Globe Institute as well as the National Museum of Denmark will also be included.
