New journal: Curious Things

Launch of the first issue of Curious Things.

We are excited to announce that the first issue of Curious Things will be published soon. To mark the occasion, we would like to invite you to the launch of the journal’s first issue.

In Curious Things, we explore material culture in the broadest sense and from various perspectives, including archaeological, anthropological, and other academic approaches. We do not limit ourselves to a specific historical period, geographic region, or academic discipline. The journal aims to serve as a student-driven forum that gives students the opportunity to have their academic work published professionally. We are based at the University of Copenhagen and accept contributions from students across the university’s faculties and departments.

The launch will take place on September 16, 2026, when we will celebrate the journal’s first issue and hope to bring together contributors, students, and other interested parties. There will also be an opportunity to get your hands on a physical copy of the journal.

We look forward to welcoming you!

The journal is supported by School of Archaeology.
